Greetings CDP Family and Friends,

Praise the Lord! Look what the Lord has done! After serving eight years as Chair of the Elder Board I am pleased to turn leadership over to Pastor Jeff Tomlinson. It has been a pleasure to serve the CDP District. This time of service to the Lord Jesus Christ have gone by so quickly. God has been faithful to us. His mercies are new every morning. My prayer and our vision for the CDP is to Celebrate, Disciple, and Partner with fellow congregations. Our initial efforts were to stabilize and bring us together maintaining our connectivity. Today we have thriving and growing congregations that love God and each other, I can honestly say that I am Godly proud to have been the Chairperson working alongside such capable and seasoned leaders as Dr. Cheryl Sanders, who also has finished serving her term, Audrey Boudreax, Bob Buehler, Randy Stateler, and Jeff Tomlinson.

Over the years, we have witnessed God’s hand at work in our congregations and communities. We have seen lives transformed, families strengthened, and individuals finding hope and purpose through the love of Christ. We have also weathered storms and faced challenges, but through it all, our faith and trust remain steadfast in the God who can do exceedingly abundantly above that we can hope or think. Our resolve to serve our communities and share the love of Christ has only grown stronger. My prayer is that we continue to grow in love, unity, and service, reaching out to more people and making a difference in their lives.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your prayers, support, and involvement over the years have shaped CDP District into what it is today. I also want to give special thanks to Theresa Robertson and Kyle Stateler for their support. As we celebrate this milestone, let us give thanks to God for all that He has done; and we look forward to the blessings He has in store for us.

I am so please that Jeff Tomlinson has agreed to Chair the Elder Board and I believe under his leadership the CDP will remain viable and active for years to come. I would urge you to continue to support Jeff and support the district financially. May God continue to bless us as we journey together to Celebrate, Disciple, and Partner with each other. The best is yet to come!

Yours in Christ,

Maxwell H. Ware
