Visioning Committee
At the CDP General Assembly on October 14th, Elder Board member Rev. Randy Stateler from the First Church of God of Middle River (Middle River, MD) put forth a motion for the Elder Board to form a Visioning Committee to think about what the future of the CDP District might look like moving forward as well as in five to ten years, and to collect feedback from members of its churches to help consider possible activities or ministries. The motion was approved, and the formation of the committee will begin soon. The Visioning Committee will report to the district at the 2024 General Assembly its findings and proposals for consideration.
The Visioning Committee will consist of five to ten people from various backgrounds and churches within the district. If you would like to nominate someone for the Elder Board to consider as a candidate please email us at connect@cdpchurches.org and tell us the name of the person, their contact information, what church they are a part of, and why you think they would be a good fit to help envision the future of the CDP District.
